ABOUT
Justin Farnham, a New York City native, has built a distinguished career in fashion, driven by a lifelong passion for design. He began his education with an AAS in Graphic Design from Raritan Valley Community College before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, specializing in Menswear, from Parsons School of Design. His talent was recognized when his thesis collection was showcased at the prestigious annual Parsons gala.
Early in his career, Justin worked as a Junior Patternmaker at Velaco Couture, crafting patterns and samples for New York Fashion Week and collaborating with designers like Vera Wang and Ralph Lauren. He later moved to Mumbai, India, where he designed surface treatments and embellishments for luxury brands, including Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana, and Roberto Cavalli.
Back in New York, Justin accumulated eight years of design experience at brands like Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, and UnTuckit, before transitioning into the technical side of fashion at New York Embroidery Studio. There, he managed sampling and special projects, streamlined services, and built strategic partnerships.
He furthered his expertise by earning an MS in Fashion Business from Rutgers Business School. Following this, Justin joined Stylus Apparel, a New Jersey-based cut-and-sew and decoration factory specializing in On-Demand Production and printing with drop shipping, where he developed new products, sourced materials, created and maintained all strategic partnerships, and optimized production processes.
Currently, Justin works as a freelance designer and consultant, helping startups, private clients, and established brands with custom designs and strategic advice. His diverse experience in both design and manufacturing makes him a versatile and sought-after professional in the fashion industry.
